Eight Years High

Although Heaven and Earth (with some help from Hell and High Water) seemed to conspire to prevent us from doing so, Yesenia and I finally were able to get out and on the road to enjoy our eighth anniversary. And I note that for all those choosing to get married this time of year (pay close attention, Christine, for this is your future) that for some reason, Autumn always seems to bring the suck, as if to just try and ruin your happy occasion.

But we are stronger than that.

Anyway, here we are for the night at the loverly Silver Fountain Inn, in Dover, NH. And Yesenia is just out of the tub, so I'm signing off. Enjoy your non-anniversary-ness, people.

Anon: Thanks!

Ans: So compromise; build a time machine and have your wedding on June 6th, 2006.

Christine: Fall colors? Light the darkness? Are you getting married in a nuclear pile in woodland glen?

Karl: Thanks. I also intend to enjoy the breakfast.

Congrats and Happy Anniversary Dave! I can't believe it's been that long. Seems like yesterday that I was at the wedding in a monkey suit.

Did I neglect to say Happy Anniversary?

... Well Happy Anniversary!!

Feels like a hundred years ago..

I was always proud to have been your best man..

I personally, don't have too many good memories of the drive up or the drive back or who I was with..

But the wedding itself was moving..

Happy Anniversary to you!!! Fall is worth whatever suck it brings! Leaves, color, crisp, cool, New England, New York, Drives...even if it rains it's nice...ENJOY!!! Jahaneen and I wish you all the best!!! (Darrien says hi, too, and "wonders where you are and what happened to you." I explained that it is me who is the one with the messy schedule that keeps him from you.)
CHEERS!

And Christine, November happens to be Dave's and my birthday month. So depressing it is not!!! Oh wait, how old will I be? Scratch that.
